Jim is a 1980 graduate of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio where he received a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Since that time, he has created and illustrated a variety of exclusive pieces for such corporations as P.S Greetings in Chicago, Korb Check Printers, U.S. Playing Cards in Cincinnati, and Cape Shore Paper Products in Maine. Many of his originals are part of private gallery collections and have been exhibited at various local venues. Summerfair, Montgomery Kiwanis Art Show, Mason Art Festival & Hyde Park Art Show are among the many locations where Jims artwork has been presented for purchase over the years. He has won several awards, including best of show, best graphics and honorable mention bringing him notoriety in the Cincinnati Art Community. Jim is mostly interested in very detailed, realistic wildlife pen & ink images, but he also enjoys other subjects and mediums as illustrated on his website.
